Programme description

A future-oriented engineering programme designed to prepare graduates to design, develop, and manage the digital systems and infrastructure that power modern society. Built on a strong common engineering foundation followed by focused specialisation, students gain a solid grounding in engineering principles before specialising deeply in one of nine high-demand majors.

Key features

  • Strong foundational engineering core across all majors
  • Two-semester Capstone Project combining research, design, and development
  • Integrated Master's Pathway — graduate with both bachelor's and master's in five years
  • Industry-aligned curriculum with strong emphasis on practical projects
  • Access to advanced virtual labs in 5G, IoT, AI, Robotics, Cybersecurity, and Data Centres

Project

Every student completes a two-semester major-specific Capstone Project in the final year — Semester 7 covers research, literature review, problem definition and detailed design; Semester 8 covers implementation, development, testing, evaluation and presentation. Students on the Integrated Master's Pathway extend this work significantly in Year 5.

Entry requirements

  • A recognised pre-university qualification, relevant diploma, or equivalent, plus English proficiency.
  • Diploma graduates may enter with advanced standing where appropriate.
